Your cacti

Between etymology and the diversity of life

From the Latin cactus, itself derived from the Ancient Greek κάκτος (káktos). They are a family of flowering plants comprising around 2,500 species, native to North and South America (with the exception of Rhipsalis baccifera).

A presence beyond the arid

Cacti possess a unique beauty—both minimalist and sculptural. They embody strength and resilience, transforming arid landscapes into living galleries of natural art.

The art of shapes and colours

Their hues span from deep green to blue-green, including vibrant tones like red and fluorescent yellow. A delicate silvery down or waxy patina often shields them from the sun. Their spines are not only defensive structures but exquisite works of natural design: long and pointed, short and soft, hook-shaped, or arranged in intricate geometric patterns.

Desert’s hidden strength

Beneath their austere exterior, cacti conceal a remarkable complexity: storing water to endure the harshest droughts. Vital to the survival of countless species as a source of nourishment and hydration, they are far more than simple desert plants. They stand as symbols of resilience and the enduring strength of nature, flourishing where life appears impossible.

Your cacti will accompany you throughout its life. This variety has been carefully selected for its slow and graceful growth, allowing you to observe its evolution over time.

Since it exists within an in-vitro globe, it requires no external input. Opening the sterile dome in which it resides would inevitably kill it.

You may live with it every day—carrying a world within reach, always growing. The integrated loupe beneath your timepiece invites you to admire its evolution up close.

Our recommendations :

  1. We recommend not wearing your plant overnight to allow it a period of rest.
  2. When not worn on your wrist, we recommend positioning it horizontally.
  3. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (more than 3 hours). Exposure to heat may soften the substrate, or even render it liquid, causing the plant to detach from its support. If this occurs, simply let the dome cool flat in your housing, and the substrate will regain its firmness.
  4. ADD A NOTE ABOUT THE TEMPERATURE FOLLOWING PAPA’S TESTS
  5. Your plant cannot withstand frost. When worn on your wrist, it is shielded by your body’s warmth beneath your jacket during walks in cold weather.
  6. Please avoid strong impacts, which may dislodge the plant from its base.
  7. Avoid leaving it in a closed drawer, since a plant requires light to thrive.
